Gaia is currently studying a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and a Bachelor of Speech and Hearing Sciences at Macquarie University.
Throughout high school Gaia was involved in debating and was the Creative and Preforming Arts captain in year 12. These experiences helped Gaia transition from being a shy child to the enthusiastic coach she is today. This makes her great with young students who are also shy and she can provide first hand tips and tricks to overcoming nervousness.
Gaia has a range of experiences working with children having done tutoring and babysitting. These activities taught her how to interact and engage with students to give them the best possible learning environment and outcomes.
Gaia is a valued member of the SSA team through her friendliness and high energy which makes her a favourite among young speakers.
