A great opportunity for students to broaden their public speaking horizons
We at SSA believe that it's important to not only provide students with the tools they need to become engaging speakers, but the opportunities to show off those talents as well.
Given this, we launched the Rising Voices Public Speaking Championship in 2023, with the event running every year since and continuing again in 2026. This hybrid online and in-person championship allows students of all ages to practice their skills in a welcoming yet competitive environment.

Our Rising Voices competition follows successful competitions that Speaking Schools has run over the years, such as the SSA Cup in 2022 and the Sydney Speaking Competition in 2021.

Speaking Schools has been involved at every level of interschool competitions, whether acting as organisers or simply providing adjudicators.
With our Management Team having been involved as Chief Adjudicators at the highest level of some of Australia's premier interschool debating tournaments (such as Eastside, CAS and FED), not to mention the Australian, Australasian and World University Championships, we are perfectly placed to help organise and run competitions at any level.

In addition to full adjudication services, we also provide one-off online adjudicators for everything from interhouse debates to premier debating competitions where schools are required to provide judges.
Our adjudicators are amongst the best on offer in Australia, and are trained in delivering considered, reasonable and thorough decisions for students of all ages.

Coaching for competitions at the highest levels.
In addition to running competitions, we also help train students to compete in them!
This can take the form of everything from one-off sessions to taking over the coaching of entire debating or public speaking programs within your child's school.

We have been working with SSA since 2017, running the annual YouDebate competition between AUF schools.
They have been organising all the logistics for the competition, and as a result, the organisation of the competition turned out to be a breeze.
We will continue working with SSA for YouDebate and will be looking forward to other possible collaborations.
