Ruby Bat

Ruby has a love of presenting which has taken her to completing a Degree in Theatre at the University of Wollongong. She is a valued member of the SSA community as she is able to share what she has learnt about presenting through her work in theatre with the students.

Ruby has a range of experience in teaching children through her work as a Nanny and being a teachers aid for a number of primary schools. During this time she was able to see how kids best learn and how to create both a fun and welcoming learning environment.

Through her work in drama, Ruby has lots of experience dealing with large crowds and presenting. She understands what it is like to overcome nerves and present in a range of environments. She is able to empathise with her students so that they too feel comfortable when having to present.

Ruby is a favourite among young speakers due to her high energy and fun nature!
