Matthew Robertson

Matthew Robertson is currently studying teaching at the University of Sydney. He has over a decade of experience as an environmental activist, mentor and educator. In 2018, he developed and implemented a schools program with the Australian Youth Climate Coalition. Through his environmental work, he has also delivered a great many training courses to students over a number of years.
Matthew has also worked as a drama teacher, tutor and leadership group mentor for young people across NSW and the ACT.
He has participated in debating and Model United Nations when in school, so he knows just how important it is for young people to use voice and have their say on the world stage. Matthew is passionate about helping young people find their voice – just like he did – and believes that public speaking can offer them many of the same benefits that it’s offered him throughout his life.
