Thiviru is a passionate and experienced public speaking and debating coach at Speaking Schools Australasia. Thiviru is currently a Bachelor of Commerce student at the University of Melbourne, where he continues to use his debating and public speaking skills that he’s brought with him all the way from Sri Lanka!
Thiviru's journey in public speaking and debating began at Lyceum International School, where he not only excelled academically but also showcased his leadership abilities. He proudly captained both the quiz and debating teams, guiding his peers with enthusiasm and expertise. His talent and leadership qualities were further recognized when he became a vital member of his School Prefect Team. In 2020, he secured the runner-up position at the Inter School Public Speaking competition in Sri Lanka, demonstrating his public speaking skill.
As a coach, Thiviru brings a wealth of experience and real-world knowledge to his teaching. His friendly and approachable manner makes him a favourite among students, allowing them to learn and grow in a supportive environment. His experience in leadership, as well as his skill in debating and public speaking makes Thiviru an excellent coach.
