Sammi is currently studying a Bachelor in Linguistics and Applied Linguistics with a minor in Japanese Studies at the University of Melbourne.
Throughout high school Sammi was a member of the debating club which led her on to becoming the Debate Team Leader and International Student Captain in her senior years. This demonstrated her strong love for debating and communicating which she is able to share with her students at SSA. Additionally, throughout Sammi's high school debating career she won best speaker at multiple competitions.
Outside of school Sammi volunteers as a Peer Mentor to assist first years with their transition into university life. This highlights Sammi's commitment to making her classroom environment welcoming and encouraging.
