Britney Pham is currently studying a Doctor of Medicine at Monash University and loves debating with a passion!
Britney has spent much of her life involved in the debating community. She represented her school from year 7 to year 12 in the Debaters Association of Victoria (DAV) competition. Since joining university, she has represented Monash twice at the World University Debating Championship, once at the Australian National Championships and has also won competitions hosted by the University of Vienna and Cambridge University.
Britney also has a lot of experience with coaching. She currently runs the Schools Training Program for the Monash Association of Debaters. She is also a coach at Scotch College and Presbyterian Ladies' College in Melbourne and adjudicates for the DAV, Archdale and ISDA competitions.
Above all, Britney loves debating because of the opportunity it gives her to experience different view points and to challenge herself. She is particularly passionate about working with students from low SES backgrounds to ensure they have the same access to the benefits of debating as she has.
