Ava Keevers

About Ava

Ava is currently studying a double degree in Communication (Journalism) and a Bachelor of Law at the University of Technology Sydney.

Whilst in school Ava was heavily involved in school life having been College Captain, a member of the representative debating team for four premier debating competitions: ISDA, FED, Archdale and LND. It was Ava's dedication to leadership and communication that lead Ava to receiving the Catherine McAuely Award and Mother Ignatius McQuoin Award from her school.

Ava has followed her debating passion into university having competed at the Australian National Championships and The Australian British Parliamentary Championships representing UTS. Outside of school Ava was also a member of her local soccer and netball club where she learnt the importance of team work which she is now able to share with her debating classes.

Ava's bubbly personality makes her classrooms fun and welcoming creating the perfect learning environment. Ava's commitment to ensuring students try their best makes her a valued member of the SSA team!
