Annalisa Zacest

Annalisa is studying Law and Commerce at Monash University. She debated in high school, and then went on to represent Monash University at the Australian Debating Championships in 2022. She also now serves on the executive of the Monash Association of Debaters.
Annalisa's speaking successes aren't limited to debating, though - she is an avid participant in various law competitions and was a semi-finalist in the Adelaide University Law School Negotiations Competition.
In addition to this, Annalisa has plenty of experience working with kids, including the Smith Family 'Student2Student' Reading program during school. Her goal is always to make learning a positive experience for students, and places a big emphasis on encouraging her students to their best.
Annalisa enjoys debating because it is fun and challenging. It provides her with an opportunity to express herself without judgment, which allows her to develop her own opinions - something she's keen to pass on to the next generation!
