Vangelis Matheou

Vangelis is currently studying a Bachelor Degree in Law and Politics, Philosophy and Economics at La Trobe University.

Throughout high school Vangelis was heavily involved in public speaking and debating initiatives. He competed in the Debating Association of Victoria competitions from year 7-12 as well as public speaking competitions from primary school onwards. Vangelis went on to win the best speaker award at multiple tournaments and be named School Captain. This makes him very experienced in both public speaking and debating which he is able to share with his students.

Outside of public speaking and debating Vangelis has a passion for kayaking, volleyball and theatre which demonstrates his enthusiasm to try something new. This makes Vangelis a great coach as he is always encouraging his students to try their best and try something new.

Vangelis is a valued member of the SSA community for his fun personality and wealth of experience in both public speaking and debating.
