Alana Lavery

About Alana

Alana originally hails from England. She is currently on exchange in Australia from the University of Edinburgh, where she is studying Australian and Asian History.

While at school, Alana participated in Model United Nations competitions and was also House Captain, where she gave many speeches to hundreds of peers.

Alana has extensive and diverse experiences working with kids. She has worked as a surf coach for children aged 6 and above in Ireland, as well as working with young children in a nursery.

Outside of her studies, Alana has reached the England National Basketball Final and competed in the University Surf Championships.

Alana finds coaching students incredibly rewarding. She loves being able to watch her students' confidence and personalities. grow. Alana understands that these skills have lifelong benefits and strives to balance fun and learning in the classroom to create the best possible learning environment for her students.
