Wilson Mah

Wilson is currently in his second year of studying a Bachelor of Computer Science at Monash University. He is committed to helping students improve their confidence with a particular focus on younger students and helping them come out of their shell.

During high school, Wilson competed in a house debating competition which he thoroughly enjoyed due to critical thinking involved in debating and is now looking to share this passion with his students. Beyond debating Wilson also has public speaking experience through being a worship leader and a Music and Chess Captain.

Following the completion of high school, Wilson began tutoring students in a range of year groups. He learnt the skills of being a firm but fun teacher and is now applying those to the Speaking Schools classroom creating an engaging and productive learning environment.

Outside of academia, Wilson has been involved in community service as a Volunteer at The Children's Hospital Westmead, where he provides invaluable support to parents and carers. His passion for public speaking and presentation skills and care for community involvement, make him a dedicated coach. With his expertise and commitment to empowering others, Wilson is poised to make a positive impact on the lives of his students, helping them develop the confidence and skills they need to succeed in both academic and professional settings.
