Danigan has been debating since Year 8 and was hooked from the get-go. He debated throughout high school and continued at university (where he is studying a Bachelor of Computer Science and Bachelor of Science double degree), representing Monash University at the Australian Debating Championships, Australasian Debating Championships and World University Debating Championships.
He has coached multiple school debating teams, with many of them reaching the finals series. Danigan is also involved in coaching basketball - a sport he loves just as much as debating.
For Danigan, debating is about expanding his mind and feeling a sense of accomplishment. He believes building rapport with students and simplifying concepts are the best ways to engage them in learning.
