Trinity is a passionate and thoughtful coach. Her enthusiasm for debating and public speaking is infectious to her students. She was school captain at her high school, Gosford Selective, where she received a Principal’s Award for Academic Excellence in her final year. For her work in leadership Trinity was awarded the prestigious Macquarie University Leaders and Achievers Award in 2020, a notable achievement. Whilst at school Trinity was involved in competitions across speaking disciplines, including Model United Nations and Debating. Trinity showed incredible talent for debating from a young age during, winning the Newcastle University Debating Tournament in 2014 and 2015. She also participated in the Premier’s Debating Challenge throughout high school where her team found great success, impressively being State Quarter Finalists and Regional Champions. Trinity is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Communication (Social and Political Sciences) and Law at the University of Technology Sydney. Since starting university she has been an active member of the UTS Debating Society, where she serves as Events and Women's Officer. In her first year at university debating Trinity was ranked in the top 5 novice speakers at an invitational debating competition, and won the novice Grand Final of the Wollongong Tournament, showing very promising talent. Having attended a regional school that did not have regular access to debating and public speaking training, Trinity has a passion for educating students in this area, as she has found so much enjoyment from it. Her dedication to debating and educating makes Trinity a highly valued member of our team.
