Monica is an enthusiastic coach who uses her strong leadership skills to empower students to learn in the best way possible. Attending St Leo’s Catholic College in Wahroonga, she was awarded Best All-Rounder for three consecutive years and the school medal in 2015. Whilst at school Monica fostered her leadership skills through the completion of her Bronze and Silver Duke of Edinburgh, as well as serving as Senior Prefect. She participated in debating and public speaking competitions through Year 7 to Year 12, forming a lifelong love of presenting. She is now completing a Bachelor of Social Science and Laws at Macquarie University. She continues to foster her love of performing arts, having been both a cast member and director of the Law Revue. She is also a Student Ambassador, in which she presents to high school students, hosts events and facilitates campus tours. Monica is actively involved in Scouts Australia; coordinating and facilitating camps and activities for younger age groups, including producing local variety productions. At Speaking Schools we recognise Monica for her skills in engaging students at their level, and for her ability to create a classroom environment where students thrive.
