Bachelor of Laws and Arts, University of Sydney

Madhuraa is a passionate coach whos community mindset and interest in world issues aligns with many of our students. She is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Laws and Arts at the University of Sydney, where she is heavily involved in the United Nations Society. She has participated in several forums for the society including The Asia Pacific Model United Nations Conference, Sydney University Model United Nations Conference, and Victorian Model United Nations Conference, amongst others, as well as serving as President in 2019 and Conference Director in 2018. Notably, she was a delegate at the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations in 2017, where she was part of the winning team for the UNICEF Impact Challenge about Australia’s response to forced migration.

Madhuraa has experience working with children, providing tutoring for school students in English and Mathematics, as well as volunteering for the St Vincent de Paul's Bright Sparks program which provides social, cultural and educational support to the children of refugees and migrants. She has also run schools days for the University of Sydney United Nations Society, where she teaches students about Model United Nations. Her favourite thing about public speaking is how it helps you think on your feet and how applicable this is to everyday life.
