Jemma is a nurturing and bubbly coach. She attended Pacific Hills Christian School where she was Prefect and awarded the Don Turner Memorial Award in her final year. Whilst at school Jemma attended the National Computer Science School Challenge in 2020, and was invited back as a tutor in 2021. She also won the UNSW Yunus Social Business Health Hub Competition and the F1 in Schools’ Competition, for the Best Team Verbal Presentation, at both the Regional and State levels. As recognition for her hard work and success, Jemma was awarded the prestigious Stage Five Public Speaking Award.

Jemma is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Information Technology at the University of Technology Sydney under the prestigious Co-Op Scholarship. At university she is actively involved in the UTS Debating Society and made the grand final of her first ever university debating competition. Jemma has a passion for educating the next generation, working as a tutor for the Girls’ Programming Network and as an academic tutor for ACT Pacific Hills. Alongside working with us at Speaking Schools Jemma adjudicates for the Eastside and Independent Schools Debating Association (ISDA) competitions. Jemma is loved by students for her enthusiasm and her ability to make her classroom a fun and positive learning environment.
