Bachelor of Medicine, University of New South Wales

Ciara is an intelligent and supporting coach, whose love of learning is infectious for her students. She attended Brigidine College in St Ives, where she was both School Captain and Dux in 2018. Not only did Ciara achieve academic excellence at school but she was involved in 3 performance bands, competitive debating, representative public speaking and achieved her Gold Duke of Edinburgh. Ciara showed an incredible aptitude for public speaking, competing in tournaments including Lions Youth of the Year, Rotary Youth Speaks and Festival of Speech. For her hard work and achievements across academic and non-academic pursuits, Ciara was awarded the College Medal for Excellence, the most prestigious award available for a year 12 student at her school.

After her success in high school, Ciara began studying Medicine at UNSW in 2019. Ciara has a focus on improving the lives and minds of others, which she fosters through academic tutoring for primary and secondary students and coaching debating at her old school, Brigidine College. Despite her busy schedule, Ciara finds time to volunteer at a dementia care home, where she plays the saxophone for the residents. She is uniquely able to balance a thoroughly caring personality with discipline and time management.

At Speaking Schools Australasia we recognise Ciara for her ability to seamlessly connect with students in a way that fosters development in a deeply encouraging way.
