He attended Carlingford High School where he was awarded the Principal’s Award for citizenship, extensive participation and leadership. Chris began debating and public speaking in primary school and continued through high school where he found great success. Whilst at school he competed in several debating competitions including the Premiers Debating Challenge and the Epping Rotary Club High Schools Debating Competition, placing runner up in 2017 and first place in 2018 in the latter. Alongside his debating success, Chris is an accomplished public speaker, winning the Carlingford High School Public Speaking Competition an impressive 5 times, and winning the Lions Youth of the Year Public Speaking Competition in 2018. Since starting university, Chris has been elected President of the Macquarie University Debating Society and has represented the university at a number of tournaments. Most notably, in 2022 he made the finals series of the Australian National Debating Championships.

Chris has a community mindset, that grew from his commitment to his local Scouts Group. Since 2017, he has volunteered as a member - after initially starting as a Joey himself at primary school, he has since progressed as a Youth Helper and now a leader of his Cub Pack. He was been awarded the Queen Scout, which is the highest youth award in scouting and the peak award for venturers. Chris is also a talented hockey player, which he credits to the development of his teamwork mindset.

Chris is currently studying a Bachelor of Laws with a Degree of the Bachelor of Science majoring in Brain and Cognitive Sciences at Macquarie University. His skills in youth leadership, as well as his accomplishments in debating and public speaking, make him a valuable part of the Speaking Schools Australasia.
