Annie is an enthusiastic and dedicated coach who's love for debating and public speaking is obvious to her students. Annie is an accomplished debater who represented her school, Roseville College, in a range of public speaking and debating competitions, including ISDA, SDN, AHIGS and Archdale where she achieved notable success. Her accomplishments include being a finalist in the 2015 AHIGS Festival of Speech and serving as a returning finalist at the Archdale Debating and SDN Competition. Annie’s dedication to the art of debating and public speaking was recognised by her school, in her appointment as 2018 Captain of Debating and Public Speaking. She strongly believes in giving back to the community, volunteering at Cromehurst School and St Vincent de Paul Society, and achieving her Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award.

After school Annie began studying a combined Bachelor of Science and Arts at Macquarie University, majoring in Palaeobiology and English and became an active member of the Macquarie University Debating Society. Annie has fostered her love of teaching through providing English tutoring to high school students, as well as specialised public speaking coaching. She is recognised as a mature and nurturing coach who can effectively motivate students to achieve their best. Annie believes that strong speaking skills are important in all walks of life and is thrilled to be passing on her expertise to a new generation of students at Sydney Speaking School.
