Alyssa is a warm and dedicated coach that is recognised for her ability to create a fun and nurturing classroom environment. Originally from the USA, Alyssa attended Valencia High School in California where she graduated in the top 10% of her year. Alyssa has over a decade of public speaking experience, starting from primary school. Whilst in high school Alyssa was involved in Model UN and founded her school’s debate team which she led to Nationals. Alyssa then moved to Australia to study a Bachelor of Clinical Science at Macquarie University.

Alyssa has previously tutored both primary and secondary school students in subjects including French, Maths and Korean. This experience of tutoring has enabled Alyssa to gain valuable skills in classroom management and shaped her encouraging teaching style. Alyssa is an excellent communicator, aided by the fact she is also fluent in Korean, Spanish and French. Having been soft-spoken as a child herself, Alyssa is particularly passionate about sharing her learning to the next generation of students, as she knows the difference that confidence in public speaking can make.
